2010 MuscleMaster.com, Inc Product Recall
A recall has been ordered on 17 supplements sold by MuscleMaster.com, Inc. The Food and Drug Administration's belief that some ingredients within these products are actually steroids is the reason behind this recall order.
MuscleMaster.com has previously run into problems with the FDA. The Food and Drug Administration have removed products from this firm in 2004, as these products had ephedra and the product's website had made health related claims that were not well-supported with facts.
Contents within the products that could be Steroids
The FDA claim that the recalled products could have ingredients that either has been classified as a steroid, or should have been classified as such. The ingredients Androstenedione and Turinabol are currently been regarded legally as steroids. Other ingredients that FDA is concerned about, such as Superdrol, Madol and Tren, should technically be considered steroids, but the FDA does not have the power to do so at this moment.
It is not unusual to find undeclared steroids like those mentioned above amidst dietary supplements that are being marketed to bodybuilders. While these steroids are very capable and can help build muscles, they also could cause deadly side effects such as severe liver problems.
